SKU B0C823B4TR Category

About this item Frameless masks are loved by many divers for their low-profile and ability to fold flat for easy carrying, even in a BC pocket. Cressi’s frameless design bonds a high-grade silicone skirt directly to a single lens for the ultimate in simplicity. The lens is made of tempered glass and certified by the CE (Communauté Européenne). The low-internal volume allows for effortless clearing and quick-adjust strap buckles are molded directly into the skirt for a flexible fit and reduced drag. It also represents an unbeatable value, with a cost roughly half that of similar masks. The F1 is designed in Italy by Cressi and made in Taiwan. Cressi is an Italian brand pioneer in scuba diving, snorkeling and swimming equipment since 1946.

10 reviews for Cressi F1, Scuba Diving Snorkeling Frameless Mask – Perfect Seal Silicone Skirt – Cressi Quality Since 1946

  1. A.C.O.

I lost my nice goggles that I’d had for years, so I purchased these. I used a lighter to burn off the inner film like they show on YouTube videos and it was very easy. It happens quickly and you can see the film burn off. Then I rubbed it clean with a microfiber towel and treated it with anti fog spray a few times. I knew it worked when I breathed hot air onto the lenses and they didn’t fog up. Then I took them snorkeling for a week, with zero problems, cleaning and treating them after each day of use. I really like the clicking adjustments for a good micro fit. Mask is comfortable and works well for a small female face but would probably also be fine for an adult male.

My experience and usage – Living in Florida I have been snorkeling and free diving for many years, I have just taken up Scuba Diving and am by no means an expert.I bought this mask because I had problems with other ones putting a lot of pressure on my forehead and the bridge of my nose which made it painful to dive any deeper than around 20ft, It was usually not unbearable, just uncomfortable. This frameless mask absolutely solved that problem 100%. This past weekend I dove “The Tracey” a wreck off of Ft Lauderdale down to 73 feet with absolutely no discomfort. This mask seals perfectly on my face even with an average amount of facial hair. No Leaking, the skirt is soft and comfortable.Fogging – This mask like any other I have used will fog if you don’t prep it. Here are some tips for preventing fog.1. Before first use, Carefully heat the inside of the mask with a lighter until you see the residue come off. There are many YouTube Videos on how to do this without damaging the mask please watch one.2. Apply Toothpaste and rub it vigorously. Dont use the Gel Kind, get the old school white gritty toothpaste.3.Use a commercial Antifog treatment. (https://www.amazon.com/Just-Add-Water-Antifog-1-Ounce/dp/B0012Q2S4W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1534852233&sr=8-1&keywords=spit+antifog) I apply it the day before I know I will be diving and leave it on over night. I give it a very quick rinse just before I go into the water. Do not Rinse all of the AntiFog out of the Mask! You should still see some bubbles from the antifog. If all of the bubbles are gone you rinsed too much. Some people may have sensitive eyes but I have never had any trouble with the brand above burning or stinging mine.4. leave you mask on as much as possible. Do not pull it up and put it on your head/forehead this will fog it. Try to keep it on your face until you are done diving. This is a excellent mask! I have a much more expensive mask that I bought from a local dive shop that I don’t like nearly as well as this one. This would be a great mask at $100. At this price point it is unbeatable.**Some sellers do not include the protective box.

I love this mask. I go snorkeling a lot so I bought it for that. I have lots of different mask, I think this is my favorite so far. It is very comfortable. The silicone skirt around the mask is very soft. It forms a good tight seal. This is the only mask that hasn’t started leaking on me. I did the toothpaste trick with it when I first got it to prevent fogging. You want to wash the inside of the mask out with toothpaste. I used my white toothpaste (not gel) and rubbed it into the glass part of the mask with my fingers, then washed it out well with clean water. This really really helps to keep the mask from having fogging issues, it removes the film that comes on the glass from the factory. I also use anti fogging gel that I bought from Amazon. Works amazingly well, never had an issue with fogging.I think this mask is only for people with small faces, small noses because I have a small face and it fits perfectly. I think it would be way too small for a medium or large face. The nose piece is not very big. I originally bought the mask in blue but then bought a clear. I didn’t like the blue one because you have a very limited viewing angle without the sides, top, & bottom being clear. I think clear is the way to go, at least for me.

This googles are SO worth the money. They feel amazing so comfortable I want to buy a pair for my whole family. They are not big but they fit my face my husbands face and my 10 year olds face. The build quality feels amazing! The glass is real glass and looking threw these is Crystal clear.I did have some fog but the Lake I was in was 70F and the air was in the mid 80s. SO with me popping up to breath I got some fog going on. The suction is great NO LEAKS AT ALL. I am amazed but again I never bought googles of this qulity before I always got cheap ones. SO to me these are a dream come true. So excited to use these more. I am like a big kid when I have these one I want to go in all water. Including ice cold Tahoe rivers. So happy. Just buy them. The fact that they are frame less is great because the are small and so easy to pack. I am so happy.

  5. Ryeguy

I am an experienced scuba diver but I bought these to play around with in my pool. I was very pleased with this mask. I own and have used Frameless masks that cost 10x this one for scuba diving and this mask gets darn close to those. Fit is everything so regardless of how good a mask is, it will only perform as good as its fit so keep that in mind. The issue with fogging is also rather universal and proper fog treatment and maintenance works on this mask like it does on the more expensive ones. For the price I would recommend this mark to anyone snorkeling or going on vacation and just want a great mask for a low price and by by no means does this feel like a cheap mask either. Again, put this side by side to professional scuba frameless masks and the average person will have a very hard time telling which one worth $300 and which one $30.I don’t think I’d scuba dive with these though. Simply for the fact that I already own some tried and true masks but I would definitely dive with this as a backup.

  6. Vicki Reece

It was a nice mask just too wide for my face

  7. Lisa

I have a small-ish face and this mask fit well. What I loved most is that it sealed well on the lower part of the mask. I have very prominent smile lines, so my fancy expensive mask leaked like crazy. I bought this one thinking a softer silicon skirt would solve the problem, and it did. It almost seals too well, and I really have to work at clearing my mask (like in training, or when I would flood the mask to clear the fog). But part of that may be my inexperience, as well.It does fog up like crazy. I tried the toothpaste method to no avail (rub toothpaste on the inside of the lense with your finger. Let sit overnight. Rinse). The dive master at the shop we used in Jamaica took a lighter to the inside of the lense to burn off the stuff that fogs it up and it has worked like a dream ever since. I got this mask for around $22 and it was DEFINITELY worth it.

  8. Ziminy13

I was really shocked by how comfortable these are. I’ve spent thousands of dollars over the years on snorkel masks from top brands. This is hands down, the softest thing to ever touch my face. The huge clear solid panel lens is amazing to see through and sits very close to your eyes. It feels like you have a much bigger field of view. AND THE COMFORT….. I can wear these for hours and not get snorkel headache. I’m never going back. These are heaven.

  9. Marinne J. Strassel

This is a great product but the sun blinds you because I got the ones that are fully clear. I have a black pair and they are wayyyyyy easier to see out of because it acts as a visor over your eyes

  10. Poppy Shortstocking

I use this for pool swimming. And I swim a lot (several miles a week) and this gets a lot of use. I absolutely love it. I love the cool white which hasn’t yellowed. The only thing is the inside gets smudgey from my face (too vain to say dirty), which puzzles me because my face isn’t smudgey…. Lol
